10 Best Action Sequences From The Terminator Series

From THAT motorcycle chase scene to the desperate destruction of the “first” Terminator, here are some of the franchise’s best scenes. James Cameron has undoubtedly left a huge mark on the film industry. films like Titanic and Avatar, he also influenced the sci-fi scene with Ridley Scott’s killer sequel to Alien, and of course launched the Terminator franchise with two of the best films in the series. By its very nature, fighting machines exalts the tragic human story in films. But it’s this fight that brings some of the best action scenes we’ve seen in sci-fi movies in the last few decades.

Motorcycle Chase Scene – Terminator 2: Judgment Day

This is probably the first scene that fans think of when they think of the Terminator movies. In the early stages of T2, John Connor gets caught in the crossfire of two bad guys who can absorb bullets like sponges. After seemingly escaping the ominous Liquid Metal Terminator on the back seat of a motorcycle, the T-1000 returns to action behind the wheel of a semi-trailer. After damaging the truck, the truck explodes due to a leaking gas tank and John and the T-800 escape.

T-800 Vs. T-1000 – Terminator 2: Judgment Day

Sarah, John, and their Terminator protector find themselves inside a steel mill after fleeing a T-1000. It is here that the T-1000 meets its end, but not before the final battle. The Terminators go for it first, but the T-1000 takes over and crushes the T-800’s arm with a spinning gear. The tenacious cyborg completely cuts off the limb and continues to pursue his liquid metal enemy. After another fight, the T-1000 disables Arnold’s Terminator by slowly crushing him with a steel beam. Finally, the T-1000 delivers the finishing blow, spearing the reluctant Terminator through the floor. Luckily, the T-800 reloads and fires an accurate shot at the T-1000, which sends it to its doom.

Kyle Reese and Sarah Connor Vs. The Terminator

After Kyle Reese caused the Terminator to lose all of his flesh in a pipe bomb explosion, his “true” form pursued the couple through the factory. Kyle eventually sacrificed himself by blowing up the Terminator with another pipe bomb. Despite his sacrifice, the Terminator’s upper half was still active and crawling towards the wounded Sarah Connor to finish her off. But Sarah manages to crush the car with a hydraulic press, putting an end to this horror.

Skynet Lab T-800 Fight – Terminator Salvation

Christian Bale portrayed the famous resistance leader. In Terminator Salvation, Bale’s John Connor arrives at Skynet’s lab, where he witnesses the tattered remains of humanity survive as slave labor for the machines. A huge T-800 dressed in the skin of a much younger Arnold Schwarzenegger shows up just in time to ruin John’s day a bit. John manages to pull himself together and is confronted by Kyle Reese. Their meeting is interrupted by a T-800, but John sets it on fire with several shots from a grenade launcher. Still he wasn’t finished, but it finally finished him when Kyle gave him the final blow.

Arnold vs. Arnold – Terminator Genisys

While Terminator Genisys was not well received by critics, it did have some funny moments. Terminator Genisys confuses everything by adding a bunch of time travel on top of everything that has already happened in the series. this brought together old Arnold and young Arnold (both 800-series models) for a quick brawl in Los Angeles in 1984. The fight was really interesting.

Desert Highway Chase – Terminator Salvation

Terminator Salvation. At some point, his paths cross with Kyle Reese and a young girl named Star. They need to quickly evade a huge three-story car, which they are trying to destroy by blowing up a fuel truck. The car survives the explosion and dispatches two motorcycle-style Terminators as they race down the highway in a tow truck. They manage to destroy both the Terminators and the Hunter-Killer. But Kyle Reese and Star are still captured by the machines and forced to do difficult labor.

The Police Station Attack – The Terminator

Sarah Connor, still very innocent and naive when it comes to the harsh reality of her fate, has taken refuge in the Los Angeles Police Department. Meanwhile, Kyle Reese has been delayed by his talk about an indestructible killing machine sent from the future. Soon the Terminator spoke his famous phrase at the front desk. “I’ll be back,” said the cyborg, and a moment later sped through the main entrance of the police station in a car. This was followed by a deadly hunt for Sarah.

Infiltrating Cyberdyne Systems – Terminator 2:

Sarah Connor, the T-800, and the creator of the future Terminators’ neural network processor, Miles Dyson, hatch a plan to hack into Cyberdyne’s systems and destroy his work in order to prevent an apocalyptic future. An alarm goes off, causing the entire police force to arrive with the T-1000. The T-800 effectively incapacitates the entire police force without killing a single soul (per John’s orders), only destroying their vehicles with the minigun.

The Bar Scene – Terminator 2:

it’s still this fight is really a cult scene. In typical Terminator fashion, a T-800 walks into a local bar wearing only the skin given to it by Skynet’s creators. Instantly, he demands the leather pants and motorcycle of one unsuspecting biker. After a prank and an attempt to set fire to the body with a Terminator in cigar, the biker and his buddies are surprised to see the Terminator’s face, which has no facial expressions, that he does not feel pain at all, and they immediately understand that something is wrong here. By throwing one biker through a bar window, another onto the open burners of the kitchen oven, and stabbing one unfortunate soul through the shoulder with his own blade, the Terminator got what he came for.

Bathroom Destruction – Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines

In the third act of Terminator 3, John Connor and his future wife Kate head to the US Air Force base, believing that from there they can disable the Skynet system. But the TX killer, played by Kristanna Loken, arrives to thwart the cauldron. An 800-series model sent to protect John and Kate throws the transmitter into the bathroom and starts an intense computer fight. The Terminator rips off the toilet and hits T-X with it – as, of course, anyone in a toilet fight would do.
