9 Classic Arnold Schwarzenegger Characters That Need To Return

It’s time to take a look at the many other characters Arnold  Schwarzenegger  has to reprise. currently discussing the movie “Triplets”, the sequel to the movie “Twins” by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito. It would be amazing to see Schwarzenegger revisit a classic character from his rather illustrious repertoire. From winning the Mr. Olympia that helped him conquer Hollywood, to his return to film after his tenure as governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger has proven to be a hit with audiences.

9 Ultimate Facts About Arnold Schwarzenegger Predator

The T-800 (The Terminator 1984)

Of all the characters played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, it was to the Terminator that he decided to return. In the original Terminator movie, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s T-800 model was portrayed as a ruthless killer robot rather than the hero he later became. If Arnold wants to play the role again, it would be interesting to see him play the T-800 again as the terrifying villain.

Dutch Schaefer (Predator 1987)

The “Predator” original is still one of the successful action films. Arnold Schwarzenegger is a pack of ultra-macho soldiers who are killed one by one by a terrible alien. He stands in the form of Dutch Schaefer, the leader of the pack, who naturally survives. What happened to Dutch after the events of the movie? Schwarzenegger returned as a character in Predator: The Hunting Grounds, but it would be amazing to see how Dutch handled his fight with the Predator and his life after the original film.

Conan (Conan The Barbarian 1982)

“Conan The Barbarian” is down to earth, with its high quality, helped by John Milius’ direction and Schwarzenegger’s underrated performance. Conan’s story looks like it was meant to be an epic trilogy, so knowing that the franchise ended with a disappointing Conan the Destroyer and a lackluster remake stings a bit. Now that Schwarzenegger has gotten a little older, it’s time to see Conan wear the bejeweled crown of Aquilonia on his troubled forehead.

Detective John Kimble (Kindergarten Cop 1990)

Following LAPD Detective John Kimble, who goes undercover as a kindergarten teacher in Astoria to investigate a drug dealer, the kindergarten cop does the action, but is also full of heart. The film had a direct DVD sequel, Kindergarten Cop 2, where Schwarzenegger’s John Kimble was replaced by Dolph Lundgren’s Zach Reed, but that film lacked the charm of the original. If a good writer and director delivers a solid pitch, it’s entirely possible that Schwarzenegger could be brought back and fans will quickly rejoice.

John Matrix (Commando 1985)

With the exception of John Rambo, Commando was seen by many as the start of many 1980s action tropes and is without a doubt one of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s best films. Critic Roger Ebert summed up the film’s plot and tone perfectly in his review of the film, jokingly saying “Schwarzenegger is a tough guy, bad boys kidnap daughter, he blows them up very well!” Commando is overloaded and packed to capacity with cheesy one-liners often delivered by Schwarzenegger’s John Matrix, tons of violence, and lots of testosterone. It would be cool to see John Matrix strap on a bunch of weapons and jump headlong into another interesting adventure.

Best Arnold Schwarzenegger Movies According to IMDb

Harry Tasker (True Lies 1994)

“True Lies” is still a great spy comedy, where Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis complement their comedy tricks with a tight script and an amazing supporting cast. In the film, Schwarzenegger plays Harry Tasker, a spy who fights terrorists, while his wife Helen and daughter Dana see him as a boring computer salesman. But Harry’s lies are eventually exposed, leading to Helen, and then Dana, getting caught up in an epic James Bond-style adventure involving terrorists. Since both Schwarzenegger and Curtis will once again shine on the big screen, it was great for them to team up again to embark on a new adventure.

Ivan Danko (Red Heat 1988)

Red Heat is a film in which Arnold plays a Russian captain named Ivan Danko who is forced to team up with a Chicago cop played by Jim Belushi to stop a dangerous drug lord together. However, a return to the world of Red Heat would be interesting for Schwarzenegger right now, especially with current world events. It would be interesting to see where Ivan Danko is in the post-Soviet world, and especially how his friendship with Detective Ridzik Belushi developed.

Jack Slater (Last Action Hero 1993)

Last Action Movie gained a violent cult following after the film was built on a humorous mockery of the imagery of classic action films, with Schwarzenegger excellently portraying the stereotypical macho Jack Slater. And this is still a premise that can be explored today. Perhaps a new film, Last Action Hero, could solve Hollywood’s current obsession with cinematic universes, or the slow fading of the typical action hero. It would be funny to see how funny the Jack Slater series got after the fourth entry featured in the movie.

Hercules (Hercules In New York 1969)

As soon as Hollywood producers saw Schwarzenegger, he was quickly cast as Hercules. Hercules in “New York” is not a high-profile film, but it is quite enjoyable, especially the version where Schwarzenegger is not voiced. The idea of Schwarzenegger playing Hercules again, now that he’s 75, the odds are probably low. But of course the new Hercules series starring Arnold Schwarzenegger would be very interesting to watch.
