Arnold Schwarzenegger believes that James Cameron saw the emergence of artificial intelligence in the Terminator films.

Schwarzenegger praised the “brilliance of the writing” as “at that time we [touched] artificial intelligence. Think about it”.
He added: “Now, decades later, it has become a reality. So it’s no longer fantasy or futuristic. It is here today. And this is Jim Cameron’s magnum opus.”
Schwarzenegger also recently addressed the future of the Terminator franchise, saying that he will no longer be appearing in films.
“The franchise is not over yet. I finished. “I got it loud and clear that the world wants to move on with a different theme when it comes to ‘Terminator,'” he commented. “Someone has to come up with a great idea. The Terminator is largely responsible for my success, so I’ve always looked at it with great affection.”
Cameron has revealed that he is working on another Terminator film. “So James Cameron just told the #DellTechWorld crowd that he started writing the new Terminator movie 3 months ago but wants to see the #AI fail before moving forward,” a Twitter user said at the conference.
