Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock, has married Lauren Hashian in a Hawaiian wedding and shared photos from the day. The couple have been together for 12 years and have two children together — Jasmine, three, and Tiana, one. Dwayne, 47, announced the news on his Instagram on Monday, posting photos from his wedding day. He revealed he and Laura, 34, married on Sunday in Hawaii. The actor added ‘Pōmaika’i’, which means ‘blessed’ in Hawaiian. Dwayne first met Laura, daughter of Boston drummer Sib Hashian, in 2006.
The former wrestler was filming The Game Plan at the time and was still married to first wife Danny Garcia.
Danny and Dwayne had a daughter together, now 18-year-old Simone, and announced they were separating amicably on June 1, 2007. Dwayne and Laura had their first child together, Jasmine, was born in December 2015.
Their second, Tiana, was born in April 2018. The film star is very family focused and gifted his mother a house at Christmas last year.
He videoed her reaction and revealed the sweet reason why it was such a special moment for him.
Dwayne wrote: ‘All our lives growing up we lived in little apartments all across the country. Lived like gypsies on the road from one state to another.
‘The first home my parents ever lived in was the one I bought for them in 1999.
‘They divorced about 5yrs later and as with life, stuff happens and things got a little complicated.
‘Since then I always made sure my mom and dad have everything they’ll ever need — houses, cars etc.
‘But the house this time is a special one and the timing is very meaningful.’
