Every Jean-Claude Van Damme And Peter Malota Fight

Jean-Claude Van Damme and Peter Malota have done several different fight scenes together and we watch every time they fight each other on screen. Martial artist Jean-Claude Van Damme fought many martial artists on screen and one of his most memorable opponents was Peter Malota and they had several fight scenes together. Van Damme first broke out in 1988 with the 1988 Bloodsport martial arts tournament, and indeed this film launched his action film career. Van Damme has always continued to impress audiences around the world with his professional kicking skills and renowned flexibility throughout his career. Peter Malota is a highly trained martial artist himself and has worked extensively on his stunts and stunt coordination as well as teaching martial arts.
Malota moved on to direct the 2017 action thriller Kill ‘Em All, starring Van Damme and Daniel Bernhardt, leading the Bloodsport sequels. Malota’s taekwondo and hapkido kicking skills were used whenever he had the opportunity to be in front of the camera, and this often included fight scenes with Van Damme. Although Malota is not a household name, his skill as a martial artist has always amazed. His fight scenes with Van Damme are also consistently great. Double Impact (1991)

Van Damme’s first fight against Malota occurred in 1991’s Double Impact, in which the audience got two Van Dammes, twin brothers Chad and Alex Wagner, the first of several films in which Van Damme had a twin. When two brothers arrive to save Alex’s kidnapped girlfriend Danielle (Alonna Shaw) and Chad’s adoptive uncle Frank (Jeffrey Lewis), Alex is confronted by Malota. Donning a pair of cowboy boots with spurs, Malota makes good use of his masterful kicking skills against Alex, but Chad’s twin brother refuses to let his enemy get the better of him.

The Quest (1996)

Van Damme made his directorial debut with the 1996 film The Quest, in which he portrays Christopher Dubois who competes in a secret international martial arts tournament in 1925. Malota appears there as a Spanish fighter who wins the tournament for the first time. Chris subsequently faces a Spanish fighter in a tournament and Malota displays the power and finesse of his kicking skills, though Chris ends up coming out of the match as the winner.

The Order (2001)

The Order 2001 pairs Van Damme with Bloodsport screenwriter Sheldon Lettich and is essentially Van Damme’s version of the Indiana Jones movie. In The Order, Van Dam is portrayed by artifact smuggler Rudy Kafmeyer who travels to Jerusalem to rescue his kidnapped father. Rudy finds himself in a battle with a sect seeking to plant a bomb under the Temple Mount during Ramadan to spark World War III. Peter Malota is also present in The Order as one of the enforcers of Amnon’s sect, and they come face to face twice in the film, the first time Rudy arrives to find his father in Jerusalem, the two trade punches in a fountain.
