Every year in the USA, about 3.6 million people attend martial arts classes. In fact, there are more martial arts schools in the USA. than in any other country of the world. Interest in martial arts shows no signs of slowing down. This is not surprising, considering the many advantages of martial arts, both physical and mental. Despite the popularity of martial arts, including kung fu, there are some interesting facts about martial arts that many people do not know. Below are some of these facts.

Teddy Roosevelt was the first American to receive a brown belt in Judo and lined the White House basement with training mats.
