Terminator vs. RoboCop and 3 More Epic "Vs."
Among the many brutal and experienced action fighters, there are those who seem to be made to fight each other, ready to team up or destined for revenge. Some of these meetings were even conceived and then cancelled, like the outrageous but mothballed Men in Black and the 21 Jump Street crossover that would have shown both groups working together. Unlikely or quite possible, here are a few crossovers that could lead to explosive matchups with opponents.

RoboCop vs. The Terminator

Although the RoboCop and the Terminator duke it out in RoboCop Versus The Terminator — a classic Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis title from 1993 — the two never traded blows in a feature film. Since they are both, essentially, walking arsenals created to locate and eliminate targets, RoboCop and The Terminator have received many comparisons in the time since their debuts. So many so that some even consider if RoboCop is a copycat of the seminal Arnold Schwarzenegger role. Both characters were icons of the ’80s and action flicks, and each still appears in various media today. Considering their long-running popularity and similarities, it’s almost surprising these two never fought on-screen. At the least, video game fans can make the matchup a reality thanks to Mortal Kombat 11’s inclusion of both characters.

The Punisher vs. Judge Dredd

The Punisher and Judge Dredd are similar in their fighting styles and their individual positions in criminology, which range from personal to often garbled positions. While the two are almost at opposite ends in terms of judicial convictions, they each consider themselves judges on the spot. Both comic book characters, the Punisher’s origins as an assassin are a step darker than Dredd’s, whose origins are based on satire. An unhealthy man seeking revenge for the murder of his family, the Punisher seeks to destroy the mob that kidnapped his loved ones, and he does not stop there. His relentless rage would alarm the meddling Dredd, who prefers to go by the book in his dystopia. In the event of their meeting, it is unlikely that Dredd will release the Punisher with just a warning.

Zorro vs. Jack Sparrow

Two skilled swordsmen, Captain Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, might not find it easy to survive the legendary Zorro if they meet. Thanks to Zorro’s quick movements and his ability to dodge and run away, Sparrow’s battle could end up with him retreating to the sea, where he remains a captain. Since Sparrow was a thief, Zorro would naturally disagree with a pirate, as his own moral code prioritizes the protection of commoners. Zorro’s intentions to keep the commoners from being used can lead the vigilante to see Sparrow as a villain, leading to a fight that can be disastrous for an unsuspecting Sparrow.

The Predator vs. John Rambo

John Rambo is a one man army capable of hunting enemies with better abilities. The Predator, on the other hand, is not much different. Rambo’s tendency to disobey orders, take matters into his own hands, and react with violence could easily lead to an encounter with the Predator, but his ability to escape an alien hunter is more obscure. Both use weapons from a distance and use tactical warfare so their battle can be lengthy. Although the Predator has been defeated before, where Arnold Schwarzenegger played the main game. In the character’s franchise, many of them weren’t as tough and brave as Rambo, but that doesn’t mean he would have won without bruising. Their clash could potentially lead to one of the most exciting fights cinema has to offer.
