Collateral Damage (2002)
In the film, Schwarzenegger plays an LAFD firefighter whose family was killed in an explosion in Los Angeles. The Colombian drug cartel is revealed to be responsible for the bombing, and after failing to get any action from the US government, he heads to Colombia to take care of the violent extremists himself. In fact, this is the story of an ordinary guy who has to go to war with a group of villains who destroyed his family. Escape Plan (2013)

In 2000, Schwarzenegger starred in The Sixth Day, a particularly science fiction film about the dangers of human cloning. The sixth day was about what happens when a person is cloned and they don’t even know it, and how they deal with the situation when an evil scientist/organization is involved. In the film, Schwarzenegger is a military-trained pilot who doesn’t take cloning particularly well without his permission. He gets into serious combat situations with bad guys who keep popping up thanks to being recreated every time they get killed.
Kindergarten Cop (1990)
In this film, Arnold plays a detective working to find the only woman who can help him get rid of his nemesis forever. When he shows up to find a woman, he takes on the role of kindergarten teacher. There wasn’t a lot of action for a Schwarzenegger film. When the action began, it was more unsettling given the threats against the children in the film. Despite this, Schwarzenegger used his muscles as a shield to protect the innocent and uphold the law.
Twins (1988)
If you think back to 1988’s Gemini, the movie isn’t about Arnold being such a huge guy, but that fact is in no way hushed up. He may have been wearing a blazer for most of the movie, but he’s back in the 80s. Raw Deal (1986)
Raw Deal was another movie that featured Schwarzenegger as a law enforcement officer, but this one had a twist. He played Mark Kaminsky, a former FBI agent turned small-town sheriff who was forced to leave the agency after beating a suspect accused of sexual assault. Eventually, the man who had been stalking him from the agency called him back into service to take care of the mob in Chicago and the presence of the agency mole. The ensuing massacre is one of the largest in Schwarzenegger’s filmography. It was a real action movie from the 80s with a ripped and evil version of Arnold who comes in, destroys everyone and takes revenge.
Eraser (1996)
Eraser was one of Schwarzenegger’s films that performed relatively well at the box office, but is not as famous as some of his other films. Arnold convincingly plays an absent father who constantly misses his child’s important events, so he wouldn’t mind buying his child a Turboman figure for anything. Red Heat (1988)
In 1988, Russia was still the Soviet Union and the Cold War was still raging. Red Heat capitalized on the constant tension of the situation by making a buddy cop movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Belushi. Both men are working on the same case involving a dangerous Soviet Georgian drug lord who happens to be the former partner of Schwarzenegger’s character, police captain Ivan Danko. The Expendables (2010 – 2014)
When the first The Expendables movie came out, Schwarzenegger was still governor of California, so he only got to play a brief cameo. By the time the second film hit theaters, he had left the office and returned to the camera as an action star, and he stayed for the sequel. In the films, Arnold plays Trench Mauser, an occasional rival/ally of Barney Ross Stallone.

Predator (1987)
“Predator” was a movie where most of the plot revolved around Arnold’s muscles. When he approaches Carl Weathers at the beginning, the audience sees the biggest biceps in the entire movie, but that’s not all. He continues to walk through the jungle with his compatriots to destroy the war party, but stumbles upon an alien. After almost everyone is killed except Schwarzenegger, he is confronted by his enemy, who picks him up and looks at him.
