Scott Adkins reinvigorates the Undisputed franchise with his debut as MMA fighter Yuri Boyka in Undisputed 2: Last Man Standing. Since Boyka has become such a popular character in martial arts films, many fans around the world continue to wait for news that Undisputed 5 will be greenlit.
Boyka’s fights in the ring presented him with many difficult challenges from one film to another. As the world’s most accomplished fighter, Boyka never shies away from even the most harrowing challenges, and one of Jean-Claude Van Damme’s
1989 films Kickboxer may be one of his toughest challenges yet: used glass-coated gloves in the Kickboxer’s final fight.
When Van Damme’s Curt Sloane faces Tong Po (Michelle Kissi) in their climactic Muay Thai match, both have hemp on their fists covered in broken glass, making for a very exciting final martial arts battle for the first film in the Kickboxer franchise.
